Your Promised Land!

Within us, there is always a little child! The smaller it was, the better it knew the truth— who it is, what it is, where it came from, and where it is going! The smaller, the closer to the creative source, to the source of love!

As this child grew, it distanced itself from the source, and its thirst to discover what it had lost became greater...

John 4:14

[eng] But whoever drinks the water that I give him will never be thirsty again. But the water that I give him will become in him a spring of water [satisfying his thirst for God] welling up [continually flowing, bubbling within him] to eternal life.”

...and so, growing up, the child forgets where it came from, forgets who it is, forgets its dreams, and the promise given for its own land of promise!

Promise = assurance or guarantee given by someone

While we were children, we weren't afraid of falling; we wanted to explore the world, taste the different, we were curious and wanted to discover everything around us!

Matthew 5:3

μακάριοι οἱ πτωχοὶ τῷ πνεύματι, ὅτι αὐτῶν ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν.

[eng] “Blessed [spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired] are the poor in spirit [those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant], for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever].

Searching for a child's rights, I read that: The most significant psychological need of a child is to be loved and to feel security within that love. The child must feel that they are loved and wanted for who they are, not for their actions. Love is the right of every child, but it can also be used as motivation for self-development.

The scientific term psychology in Greek "ψυχολογία", is a compound word and comes from the words "ψυχή" = "soul" and "λόγος" = is the ability to consciously apply logic, drawing conclusions from new or already existing information, with the aim of seeking the truth meaning "study of the soul." As children, we need to be loved for who we are, and this has a psychological impact on our later development as human beings!

Children know the land of their own promise— their goodness, authenticity, uniqueness. It's beautiful to encourage and recognize them so that their needs are met on a psychological level, that is, existential!

So, what is your land of promise, the one you forgot as you grew up, the one that would bring richness to your life, the one that would make you a landowner in your fields... (Workers in the vineyard, Matthew 20:1-16).

Matthew 20:1

The kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.
