Manual of Life... surrendering our concerns to the present!

Many times, we think that the decisions we made in the past were not the wisest, and that they negatively influenced our future. In reality, however, the decisions we made at that moment were suitable for the spiritual level at which we found ourselves.

The great Creator of all, Father Almighty, who is always omnipresent, is even present in those decisions of our lives that we believe were not the wisest. God is in our present, not in our past or future because when we were in our past, it was essentially the present moment we were living! We usually don't perceive God's presence because our relationship with Him lacks consistency. However, when something unexpected and dangerous happens in our lives, and we survive, then our language speaks the truth: 'God saved me!' Therefore, God is always by our side, within us because we are creations 'in His image and likeness.' His love gave us breath and the freedom to choose to become like Him!

GENESIS 1:26

[eng] " Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness…

Our uniqueness is accepted by God, but our difficulty in accepting His love is what trips us up! When was the last time you asked Him about an important decision you had to make in your life?

In Matthew 6, it tells us: [6:5]

[eng] “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

[eng] But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

[eng] And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.

Here, the Apostle doesn't say if you pray but when you pray!

So, he gives us a rule that prayer is necessary, a need for personal contact with Him.

He is present in our lives, knows our uniqueness, our hearts, difficulties, dreams, our bright and dark sides! He knows everything about each of us...

He has the manual of our entire life!

We've all grown up differently, different families, beliefs, experiences, spiritual stimuli, and different perceptions of things. Therefore, the recipe He gives to each one is unique and different, just as we all are!

By surrendering our concerns, problems, thoughts to Him in the present, our existence is filled with strength, faith, and trust that He is our guide now, so we can have in life all that we truly need and that gives us substance and happiness!

ISAIAH 30:18

[eng] Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!
